Encountering God Parking & Transit
As parking is limited throughout the weekend, we encourage anyone who is able to please walk, stroll, bike, rideshare, or take public transit. If you decide to drive, we encourage carpooling.
Here is some helpful information about parking options:
- Friday night:
- Permitted and metered parking ends at 6PM
- 1314 Valencia St. lot: available for families with young children
- Church Garage (accessible from Orange Alley): reserved for those with disabilities
- Saturday:
- Church Garage: closed until 10AM (to accommodate the Food Pantry), and then reserved for those with disabilities and families with young children thereafter
- 1314 Valencia St. lot: reserved for those with disabilities until 1:30PM, and then available to families with young children and those with disabilities thereafter
- Some streets have permitted parking limits until 6PM. Be sure to double-check signs before parking.
- Metered parking is active until 6PM, with a 2-4hr max
- Throughout the weekend:
- Parking in the center median is NOT permitted on Friday or Saturday.
- The Drop-off Zone (white curb) on Valencia St. will be available beginning at 4PM on Friday and through Saturday night.
- Partial validation will be available for those who park in the Mission Bartlett Garage (3255 21st St.). We will provide $8 in validation for a half day (Friday or Saturday), or $16 for the full day on Saturday. Please bring your parking ticket to the Info Table in the RSF lobby to receive your validation.
Bikes: Bike racks are available on our plaza for those who need them.
Public Transit: The 24th St. BART station is just two blocks away and the Muni route 48 stops right in front of our building. (Several other Muni routes stop within a few blocks.)
