Tim Chaddick
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Tim came to faith in Jesus after hearing the gospel, experiencing a transformative encounter that redirected the course of his life.
Though Tim hadn’t planned on vocational ministry, God called him to pastoral leadership through a fresh reading of Romans 10, leading him to pursue his growing passion for urban church planting.
In 2004, Tim and his wife, Lindsey, planted Reality LA in Hollywood, where they served for over a decade as the church grew into a thriving community seeking the renewal of Los Angeles through the gospel. In 2015, they were sent by the Reality family of churches to plant Reality Church London, where they spent five years establishing a diverse, city-center church. Returning to California in 2020, Tim served as Preaching Pastor at Reality Ventura before joining the team at Reality SF in 2026.
Having been connected to Reality SF since its earliest days and with a longstanding love for the Bay Area, Tim and Lindsey felt a growing sense that God was calling them to serve here. They are grateful to be back in the Bay Area, and are excited to serve the Reality community and participate in what God is doing in San Francisco.
Outside of ministry, Tim enjoys playing music, enjoying concerts, running, and following sports (mainly Arsenal Football Club!).
Tim is also the author of Better: How Jesus Satisfies the Search for Meaning and The Truth About Lies, both inspired by lessons learned while living and pastoring in Los Angeles.
