Meg Marchand

Hospitality & Events Director

Born in Shreveport, Louisiana, and raised in Texas, Meg grew up in church, experiencing the love of Christian community from a young age. At six years old, she came to trust in Jesus as her Savior after understanding His death and resurrection, and began to grow in a desire for others to know Him as well.

Meg attended the University of North Texas, where she studied Film & Television with an emphasis in directing. After graduating, she worked in management within the film and television industry, most recently at Lucasfilm in their animation department, where she managed the script team.

Following an unexpected job transition, Meg sensed the Lord gently leading her in a new direction centered on hospitality. As she stepped forward in faith and obedience, that calling became clearer and ultimately led her to the role of Hospitality & Events Director at Reality SF.

Meg originally moved to San Francisco for her role at Lucasfilm, but quickly grew to love the city and desired to stay. Having been familiar with the Reality family of churches through her time in Los Angeles, she began regularly attending Reality SF in early 2025.

As the Hospitality & Events Director, Meg helps create and support events for the entire church, while cultivating spaces where people feel welcomed, known, and invited into community.

Outside of ministry, Meg enjoys knitting and crafting, doing puzzles, watching and sharing films and television, and spending time outdoors with her dog, Henry—especially camping and hiking!
